Sea Pines Plantation

Sea Pines Plantation Resort is located on the southwestern end of the island and is Hilton Head Island's largest (5200 acres) and original resort plantation community (est. 1956 by Charles Fraser) and still remains one of the biggest names, offering a wide variety of amenities for the property owner as well as vacationer.

Golfing is one of the community's most famous attractions with three championship golf courses, including the Harbour Town Golf Links, home of the PGA Tour's annual Heritage Golf Tournament. Sea Pines is also home to the famous Harbour Town Marina and its red-and-white-striped lighthouse. The Harbour Town district includes charming shops, restaurants and outdoor activities -- all open to the public. In addition, Sea Pines has over 5-miles of white sandy beach line, a 600+ acre forest preserve, over 100 tennis courts, two 24-hour security gate entrances and numerous swimming facilities and bike trails that run throughout. It is also the location of the two championship racquet clubs (Sea Pines & South Beach), Lawton Stables Equestrian Center, Sea Pines Center with both shopping and dining, and South Beach Marina Village - full of outdoor activities, shopping, and restaurants.
